WordPress vs Blogger

In recent times, blogging comes up with an exceptional way to improve the business at a rapid scale, for the same, we have two names WordPress and Blogger, both the systems have a large difference in the level of popularity even after the same phase of starting.

Let’s focus more on both the entities:

Ownership

Blogger is a blogging service provided by the google, most of the time it is almost free, reliable and quite enough to publish your content or stuff on the web. As it is owned by a tech giant named as Google, has all the right to shut it down at any moment or can terminate your access to it at any time. On the other hand, we use “WordPress hosting provider” to host our own site. One can freely decide for how long he wants to run it or shut it down. The positive side of the WordPress in comparison to that of Blogger is that one can control the information you share with any third party.

Control

Talking about the control, Blogger is a perfectly tuned service with various limited tools that will allow you to perform the specific tasks on your website. Activities that you can perform on the site will be limited up to some extent, and there is no way to meet the need out of the box. But this is not so in case of WordPress, an open source software where one can easily extend or manage the activities as per the need. WordPress includes thousands of WordPress plug-ins that permit to extend the predefined features according to the requirements, such as for adding a store to your website or creating a portfolio, etc.

Appearance

As far as the appearance of any website is concerned, there are various parameters for the same. Coming to the comparison for both the systems, Blogger delivers some limited set of templates to use which can only be modified by the help of built-in tools but the negative side is, one can never be able to create specific layouts or the modifications as per the needs. It also includes some non-official Blogger template, but those templates are usually available in low quality. While in WordPress there are plenty of themes or readymade templates that can be easily modified or customized as per the requirements of the user. WordPress helps the user in making out the most of professional looking websites.

On comparing both the “content management system” for a business website, WordPress is hands down the efficient long-term solution for any business.
